HELLO!!!! We're 7bucks! Reason why we named our group 5 The 7bucks? Simple! We simply like going to starbucks and we'll be coming to starbucks often!! Anyway, our group members are: YingQing, Yingjie, Sheng Ning, Jessica Toh, Darren Tan, Joash and Mr Melvin Png! :D
For our first day, we had a early start! Gathered at school at 6.45am! Once everything was settled, we set off for Genting Highlands! Spent 8 hours on the bus! CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?! Sang, laughed and slept on the bus! Nobody fell sick!
Once we reached, we checked in! Rest awhile and we were off to play some bonding games as well as warm ups! After that, we had dinner at First World Hotel Cafe! Food was okay with wide variety! And then back to practice!
While we practice, we were intimidated by some very strong choirs who sang really well. It kind of brought our moods down. Our choir had only been able to achieve silver this year, we were really glad! It's only the first day and we already felt pressurized. How are we gonna get through the other days?
But it's okay! We already pulled through SYF, surely we can pull through this right? No matter what award we get, as long as we work hard and hang on, we can do it! So, we have to work together and bring choir to a higher standard! We'll also learn from the other school what we lack in the choir :) LOOKING FORWARD TO TOMORROW!
