Group 5's 2bucks.

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. Group 5's 2bucks are here to post! Sorry only got 2bucks, the others are probably sleeping right now.
Today we had many Masterclasses! First one with Mr. Priatna and second one with Mr. Carpio!
Mr. Priatna taught us the importance of vowels' shape!
  • We have been pronouncing vowels incorrectly. This affects the shape and flavour of a song. Certain vowels have to be stressed correctly to provide listeners with the correct mood.
  • However, different types of songs uses different kind of mouth shape. Mr. Priatna taught us to use a rounder sound when we're singing. But Mr. Carpio told us we should use a little wider and brighter sound for the Phillipino song.
  • When we sing a Phillipino song, we have to sing it the Phillipino way! Hence, what Mr. Carpio taught was put more to use! Mr. Priatna's comments were used as much as it's not conflicting.
  • Punching of words is also important, punching increases the energy of the song :D We realised that the duration of each syllabus pronounced can change the dynamics of the song greatly.
