Group 4 (Day 1)

Group 4 : Day 1 Journal (16 Nov 2009)
This is the first overseas trip the choir organised. Everyone felt excited as we assembled at the school porch at 6.45am. After collecting our choir t-shirts, we left school and headed to the Singapore custom. Thankfully, the queue was not as long as what we expected. About 10mins later, we reached the Malaysia custom to get our passports stamped and our luggage checked. We headed to Yong Peng for our brunch, bought some snacks and used the toilet as well. We were not used to the toilets there...

The bus journey was fun. The tour guide made a very funny speech: “ EXCUSE ME” in Malaysia is said as “ CAN YOU LET ME PASS AWAY?” This is an interesting sharing by the tour guide.
Upon arrival, we found the hotel rooms smaller than what we expected.

We left our belongings at the hotel room and went to do our usual warm up practices. Finally when it was dinner time, everyone rushed to the first world café for buffet. We were all starving because we did not eat much at Yong Peng. Well, we were careful not to over-eat at Yong Peng because some of us were afraid that we might get motion sickness during our jouney up the Highland. Most of the choir members felt like vomiting after having the buffet dinner. There was too much air in our stomach..

Food we ate for dinner:

We were given free time after our dinner. We made use of the free time to wash up. Unfortunately, the shower head in our hotel room could not be turned off. We sought help from our friends but none was able to help. At last Mr Png called the hotel room service to fix it.
Many of our practices were held at the Convention centre, Hall 5. For every practice, there was a de-briefing time slotted for us.

At last we have come to our Blogging Time!
