Group 1 (Day 4)

Dear Diary,

Today we had a free and easy day. After breakfast, all the choir members gathered at The Ballroom for an ‘Appreciation Session’ where we wrote sweet notes to encourage and appreciate one another. When we went around giving out our notes, it felt very good to encourage others and make their day. Likewise, when we received notes, it made us feel very good about ourselves and we really feel very happy after we read what we got.

After that session, we had A LOT of free time to shop and enjoy the INDOOR rides with the tickets given to us. The Bumper Cars were extremely fun and enjoyable. We appoint Rachel Yeo as the Official Bumper Car Queen as she really knows how to go and attack people in her car. We went shopping after the rides. We each bought some souvenirs for our family, friends and ourselves. We had dinner at First World Café and headed to the concert hall soon after. The concert was yet again a memorable performance by different schools like Victoria Junior College.
The concert was amazing. We found out that Tanjong Katong Secondary school had 87 people on the stage today. The actual number of people in the choir is 130. When we heard it we were amazed!!!!!

There is this Choir Conductor who caught our attention. Mr. Darius Lim composes all his own songs which his choir sings. He is so musically talented. He is an extremely young composer/conductor at the young age of 23. He has great stage presence and when his choir sings, he looks like a magician magically making sounds and actions appear.
That’s all we have for today! Night Night World!

Hugs & Kisses,
Rachel & Rachel, Hui Yu, Syazwani, Tabitha,
Pei Ting & Ms. Carmelia
